javascript:; Two New Site Features: Gallery of Posts and Labels | Coal Tar Free America

As promised, there have been a few more upgrades to this site to make it easier to find what you are looking for.  The first, as you see in the graphic above, is a "Post Gallery."  It is located at the bottom of the home page.  Each post, or article has a thumbnail graphic representing the article itself.  If you hover your mouse over the picture, then the title, the date of the post, and the first few words of the article appear.  Click again and it will take you to its full text.

Previously this site had a dynamic view window that accomplished pretty much the same thing, but Google took that ability away late last year.  It may moved to its own tabbed page in the future, depending on your feedback.  There are a few bugs with this for the some article titles that are too long or the way combination of a graphic or a video.

The thumbnails are all in chronological order with the most recent at the top.

If wandering through random graphics is not your preferred way to explore a site or subject, the "Labels" view may be more to your liking.  Think of it more like an index at the back of book of keywords.  The number adjacent to the keywords or labels are the number of times that this term is a primary focus of a post.

If you are interested in exploring that term, then just click on the term and a summary of the articles will be listed for you to explore further.

It took a bit of time to fix the labels that were previously added, but were formatted incorrectly.

Last week the Twitter feed was added to the right column.  When there isn't any time for a full post, the latest information may be found here.  While Twitter supplies a lot of current information, don't forget that the tabs adjacent to the top of that section reveal this site's most popular articles and a chronological archive of previous posts.
